BU makes their final trip to Matthews Arena for the 1st half finale
The Terriers (8-8-1, HEA (5th): 5-5-0) head to their former home for the final time as they face the Northeastern Huskies in the last game at Matthews Arena.

Men’s
The Terriers will close out the first half and the arena on Saturday (December 13th, 7pm).
Northeastern
(10-5-0, HEA (3rd): 5-3-0)
The Terriers will play their 549th and final game at their former home against the Huskies. This will be the 3rd of four games between the teams, with a Beanpot semifinal to come in February. The teams split their previous two games this season, with each team winning their home half of the home-and-home. In the Agganis side of the weekend, Cole Hutson was the overtime hero for the Terriers.
BU enters off of a split of Vermont (2-1, 2-3) in a pair of games where the Terriers won the game they should have won and lost the game they should have won. Freshman Charlie Trethewey scored his first as a Terrier on Friday night, and sophomore Nick Roukounakis scored his 3rd of the season and first at Agganis of his career.
NU comes in on a split with UMass (3-2 (OT), 0-2). Team scoring leader Dylan Hryckowian scored the overtime winner in game one, his team leading 9th goal and 18th point of the season. Hryckowian has 7 points in his last 4 games. Lawton Zacher who was absent from the team’s series in November returned over the weekend, saving 36 of 39 shots he faced.
Saturday’s arena closer is the 122nd between the two teams at the Arena. The teams have split their last 5 match-ups dating back to 2024.
