The men have a series with UMass Lowell while the women have a single game vs. Holy Cross
The men (11-9-1, HEA (3rd): 7-6-0) face the River Hawks in a home-and-home, while the women (7-11-2, HEA (6th): 4-6-2) have a single game vs. Holy Cross.
Men’s
The men host Lowell (January 16th, 7pm) before traveling to the Tsongas Center (January 17th, 6:05 pm).
UMass Lowell
(8-13-0, HEA (9th): 4-7-0)
The series will be the first pair of three with River Hawks, with BU heading to Lowell again to close the season.
The Terriers enter after a split with UMass (1-0, 0-2) and a win at Harvard on Monday (4-1). Jonathan Morello scored the game winner and an assist in his first multipoint effort since October 10th vs. Colgate.
UML enter off a split with UConn (5-3, 1-5). The River Hawks’ grad student Jay Ahern scored two in the win, he is second on the team in goals with 9. Senior Dillan Bentley leads the team in goals (10) and points (17). Three players are tied for the team lead in assist with 8, senior defenseman TJ Schweighardt, freshman defenseman Luke Shipley, and freshman forward Dalyn Wakely. In net, freshman Austin Elliot has played the bulk of UML’s games and holds a .896 SV% and 2.79 GAA.

Women’s
The Terriers host Holy Cross (January 17th, 4pm) in a one-off mid Beanpot game.
Holy Cross
(15-7-1, HEA (3rd): 7-6-1)
BU and Holy Cross complete their season series on Saturday, in their first matchup in December, Mari Pietersen shutout the Crusaders for the 3rd time in her career (3-0). Mia Vergilii scored her first and only goal so far this season in that game.
The Terriers enter as winners of their last 3 and unbeaten in 2026. After beating UNH on Saturday (2-1) and upsetting Northeastern in the Beanpot semifinal in overtime with a goal from captain Maeve Carey.
Holy Cross enter off a win over Boston College (3-1). Crusaders’ leading goalscorer, senior Alexia Moreau scored the game winner on the power play. Emily Crovo scored the first goal for the Crusaders and picked up an assist on their third goal. Naemi Herzig picked up 2 assists in the game, in her 4th multipoint game of the season.
